Vinsaga does not collect or transmit your personal data. Your vehicles, service history, notes, and photos are stored on your device. Nothing is uploaded, sold, or shared with third parties.
What we collect
Vinsaga does not collect, store on our servers, or transmit any personal information. The app operates entirely on your device to manage your vehicle and service records.
Information you enter
When you use Vinsaga, you may enter information such as vehicle make, model, VIN, mileage, service dates, costs, notes, and photos. This information is stored locally on your device to power the app's core features — building and displaying your service history. We do not have access to this information, and it is not sent to us or any third party.
Camera and photo library access
Vinsaga requests access to your camera and photo library so you can attach photos to service entries — for example, a picture of a completed repair or a receipt. Photos you choose or take are stored with the app on your device. We do not access, view, or transmit your photo library beyond the specific photos you choose to attach.
CSV import
If you import service history from a CSV file, that file is read and processed entirely on your device to populate your service log. The file itself is not uploaded to us or any third party.
Third-party services
Vinsaga does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. There are no SDKs or frameworks embedded in the app that collect or transmit your data.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored on your device and not on our servers, you're always in control of it. You can delete any vehicle or service entry directly in the app at any time. Uninstalling Vinsaga removes all app data from your device, in line with standard iOS app behavior.
Children's privacy
Vinsaga does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app does not target children and is intended for general audiences managing vehicle maintenance.
Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Material changes will not be applied retroactively without notice.
